The Yamauchi Kingdom's unique tradition involves people transforming into three-legged crows called yatagarasu. At the royal court, women compete for the hand of Wakamiya, the crown prince who serves as the Kinu, a servant to the Mountain God. Four young women, including Asebi, join the competition, but Asebi's innocent nature sets her apart from the others.
