Amu Hinamori is a student at Seiyo Elementary, where she's known for being "cool and spicy," but in reality, she's extremely shy and easily intimidated. Amu's life changes when she finds three brightly colored eggs in her bed and they hatch into Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su. These Guardian Characters are angel-like beings that aid people in becoming their "would-be" selves, and they temporarily change a person's personality and abilities to help them achieve their dreams. Amu now struggles to balance her multiple personalities and her new role as a member of the Seiyo Elementary Guardians, a student council group searching for and sealing the X eggs and X Characters.
