Shangri-La Frontier

Rakurou Hizutome, a high school student, plays poorly made games with in-game name Sunraku, which he shares with a small group of fellow enthusiasts. He's introduced to Shangri-La Frontier, a well-known virtual reality game, as a change of pace from the low-quality games he's been playing. Rakurou starts by selling most of his initial gear to gain extra money, leaving him with a pair of boxers, a bird mask, and some basic equipment. As he works to level up his avatar, he quickly finds that the challenges in Shangri-La Frontier are more substantial than he initially anticipated.
