Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace

Yoshio Kobayashi wakes up in his classroom to find his teacher brutally murdered and himself holding the murder weapon. His initial shock turns to curiosity as he decides to frame himself for the crime. With the help of his friend Souji Hashiba, who becomes an unlikely accomplice, Yoshio sets out to clear his name. Meanwhile, Kogorou Akechi, a skilled high school detective, arrives to investigate the murder and is drawn to the young suspect. As Kobayashi seeks to join Akechi's team as an assistant, the detective must decide if the eager boy has what it takes to solve crimes alongside him.
