However, 26 years following their peak, the team has struggled to maintain their standing and lost their reputation. The middle school years of Souichirou and Touma Tachibana, stepbrothers who attend Meisei Academy, are pivotal in their baseball development. Both excel as players, with Souichirou demonstrating proficiency as a catcher and batter, while Touma's exceptional pitching skills are hindered by an undisclosed reason.
