Osamu and Jay, two salesmen for a cereal company, encounter a barricade while on the job. Their curiosity leads them to investigate a government secret, where they find themselves in the middle of a military response to a car crash involving a government research vehicle. In the wreckage, Osamu meets Kimera, a hermaphrodite with gold and crimson eyes trapped in a frozen chamber. After Jay's father, a top researcher, reveals the incident was top-secret, Osamu becomes determined to uncover the truth about Kimera's situation.
