Hoichiro Ohma appears to be a typical office worker, known for his reserved nature. However, he has a secret: as a Judge of Darkness, he's tasked with pronouncing judgments on individuals who have committed crimes, often those that would otherwise go unpunished. When a person dies under suspicious circumstances, Ohma is called upon to apply the Laws of Darkness to their case, using a mysterious book bound in human skin and assisted by a unique parrot, to determine the outcome.
