Yoshizou Yukawa, an avid hot springs enthusiast, dies after falling off a cliff while searching for a hidden hot spring to revitalize a town. He is reincarnated into another world by an Inari deity and meets Mayudama, the messenger princess, who is sent by the deity. Upon arriving, Yoshizou is drawn to a nearby hot spring, where he takes a bath with Mayudama. They soon meet an elf girl.
