Plunderer

Characters in Alcia are identified by unique Counts - numbers engraved on their bodies reflecting various aspects of their lives. These Counts dictate a person's social standing and influence within the world. Those with a zero Count are sent to the Abyss, a supposedly inhumane destination. The Count system has been in place for centuries, originating from a war that occurred 300 years ago.

Hina, a traveler with a Count tied to her distance traveled, witnessed her mother being taken to the Abyss. Hina aims to fulfill her mother's final wishes by searching for the legendary Aces, individuals with a white star next to their Count, who are said to possess extraordinary abilities. During her travels, Hina encounters Licht Bach, a masked individual with a negative Count, and Nana, a tavern owner.
