Franz Kafka's A Country Doctor

This anime adaptation of Franz Kafka's "A Country Doctor" follows the story of a rural doctor struggling with personal issues and work-related grievances. Despite these distractions, he is called to attend a young patient one night, only to find himself transported instantly to the bedside by supernatural forces. The doctor's subsequent failure to diagnose the patient's fatal wound leads to his humiliation by the villagers, who have high expectations of his abilities.
