The Misurugi Empire's prosperity is largely due to the widespread use of Mana, a technology that has reduced war and pollution. However, those without the ability to wield Mana, known as Norma, are ostracized and persecuted, with Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi, the first princess, initially being one of their strongest advocates for extermination.
