Yao-Chinese Folktales 2" is a collaborative project between Shanghai Animation Film Studio, Shanghai Film Studio, Bilibili, and Chen Liaoyu Studio, with Chen Liaoyu as chief director. The collection features 9 short films from 12 directors, each with their own distinct style. This installment explores the world of fireworks and delves into themes of self-identity, family, and social relationships through a fantasy lens grounded in local Chinese contexts.
