Witchblade

Masane Amaha and her daughter Rihoko are pursued by a government agency seeking custody of Rihoko. The agency catches up to them, separating Masane from her daughter. Masane is then attacked by an advanced, humanoid weapon. During this attack, a mysterious energy emanates from her wrist, transforming her into a powerful being who defeats the weapon. This event draws her into a conflict involving various powerful organizations, all of which take an interest in her due to her possession of the Witchblade, a legendary artifact granting immense power.
