Lu Changfeng, the youngest leader of the Ming dynasty's navy, was tasked with escorting an official to apprehend criminals in 1663. However, their mission was cut short when they were ambushed by a ghost fleet and sea creatures, resulting in the sinking of the entire envoy. Lu Changfeng survived thanks to the intervention of a young woman from the ocean floor, who led him to Luzon, a crucial port for the Ming dynasty's silver trade. There, he encountered Song Yingxing, who was working to establish the Kingdom of Wan, a hub of international finance, as a counter to Spanish rule.
