When Will Ayumu Make His Move?

Ayumu Tanaka joins the Shogi Club, leaving the Kendo Club behind, and is welcomed by Urushi Yaotome, the president and a skilled shogi player. Urushi sees potential in Ayumu and decides to mentor him, but Ayumu's straightforward nature often leads to awkward moments, particularly when he calls Urushi "cute." As they spend more time together, Ayumu struggles to beat Urushi in shogi, which he considers a prerequisite for confessing his feelings.
