Wake Up, Girls! The Movie follows Green Leaves Entertainment, a talent management agency facing a severe crisis - they have no talents to represent. In a desperate attempt to salvage the situation, President Junko Tange orders her employee Matsuda to assemble a girl group, even if it means recruiting individuals from scratch. Matsuda's challenge is to find suitable candidates without existing contracts, leading him to recruit a diverse group of girls, including a maid café employee, a former group member, and a 13-year-old.
