Voices of a Distant Star

Mikako Nagamine is chosen for the 2046 UN space expedition after an alien attack on Earth, separating her from her close friend Noboru Terao. As she journeys farther from Earth, the time delay for their cell phone emails increases, making communication difficult. Despite this, Noboru and Mikako try to maintain their connection through regular emails, which become a vital lifeline for them. Their relationship serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those in the space expedition.
