Vandread: The Second Stage

The crew of NIRVANA, led by Hibiki, is heading back to their home planet of Tarahk and Mejeiru after defeating a massive enemy ship. Their journey is expedited to warn the people about the impending "Karitori" - a catastrophic event threatening their home world. However, they receive disturbing news from Misty, a passenger who boarded their ship, which suggests the situation on Earth is more dire than they initially thought. The VANDREAD fighters are upgraded to their final configuration, and Hibiki's relationships with his crew, particularly Dita, are put to the test as they prepare for an intense battle ahead.
