Valvrave the Liberator

Valvrave the Liberator takes place in the 71st year of the True Era, where humans have colonized space and two superpowers, the Atlantic Rim United States and the Dorssia Military Pact Federation, engage in a prolonged war on Earth and in space. Japan and the Oceanian Republic's Islands, forming a faction known as JIOR, maintain neutrality in this conflict. On a JIOR space colony, 17-year-old Haruto Tokishima's life is disrupted when a Dorssian fleet attacks, seeking to seize the Valvraves, advanced mechanized weapons allegedly hidden within Haruto's school, Sakimori Academy. Haruto finds and enters one of these machines, forming a contract that comes at the cost of his humanity.
