Umibe no Étranger

Shun Hashimoto, a young novelist, lives in Okinawa and has been openly gay since coming out to his parents, who subsequently abandoned him. He meets Mio Chibana, an orphaned high school student, on the beach, where Mio often spends his time. Shun becomes drawn to Mio, and as they spend more time together, they begin to develop a connection. Three years later, Mio returns to Okinawa at age 20, intending to confess his feelings to Shun, but finds that Shun's life has undergone significant changes in his absence.
