The OVA series Trickster is based on Edogawa Ranpo's "Shounen Tanteidan" stories. It will explore two distinct storylines: one about Kogorou Akechi's past with the Fiend With Twenty Faces, and another about the Boy Detectives Club prior to the meetings of Kobayashi and Hanazaki. These storylines will be the focus of the first two episodes.
