Tomie

The high school experience is marked by memories, both positive and negative. Students at a particular school are dealing with the aftermath of a student's death, that of Tomie Kawakami, a well-known girl admired for her striking appearance. Tomie's demise is particularly disturbing, involving dismemberment and scattered body parts. Her alleged reincarnation appears shortly after, in the form of a girl who looks identical to the deceased, complete with raven hair and a beauty mark under her left eye.
