Takemichi Hanagaki has a troubled life in the present. He learns that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, was killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang, a notorious group responsible for widespread violence. Through a mysterious time shift, Takemichi finds himself back in the past, at an age when he and Hinata were still together. He decides to join the Tokyo Manji Gang, aiming to rise through the ranks and alter the course of events to prevent Hinata's death.
