Tokyo Mew Mew New ♡

Ichigo Momomiya enters high school and catches the eye of Masaya Aoyama, but their budding romance is disrupted when Ichigo is struck by a mysterious light on their date, causing her to transform into a Mew Mew. Researchers Ryou Shirogane and Keiichiro Akasaka reveal that Ichigo was chosen for the Mew Project, a group of girls with DNA infused from endangered species, and that she must find her teammates to combat the Chimera Anima, beings created by alien-infected individuals threatening the world. The Chimera Anima are a significant concern as they seek to take over the world. Ichigo's first priority is to locate the remaining Mew Project members and join forces to stop the Chimera Anima.
