Following the Tsukiyama Family Extermination Operation, the Commission of Counter Ghouls has increased its power and continues to pursue the extermination of all ghouls in Japan. Haise Sasaki, who left Quinx Squad, is working more closely with the CCG, taking on challenging tasks without hesitation. However, his emotional numbness hides a growing conflict as Ken Kaneki's memories resurface in his mind. The consequences of his new demeanor are affecting those around him, while Quinx Squad struggles to cope with the loss of one of its members.
