Takeru Takemoto, a high school student, works part-time as a bike courier. During a delivery, he stumbled upon a girl emerging from a glowing cocoon in a forest. She introduced herself as Hikari, but their encounter was interrupted by an unexpected monster attack. Takeru and Hikari both demonstrated extraordinary abilities, leaving Takeru bewildered.
