Lucius Modestus, a Roman architect, is struggling with a creative block, which leads to job insecurity. His friends take him to a bathhouse in an attempt to help him relax. When he's unable to unwind in the crowded atmosphere, Lucius discovers a tunnel in the bath's water that transports him to a modern Japanese bathhouse, where he gains inspiration for a new creation.
