Akutsu Masatora is a demon who has taken up residence at a high school in the human world. His mission is to identify and recruit potential allies to aid Hell in the ongoing conflict with the angels of Heaven. He initially focuses on Lily Amane, a student who recently transferred to the school. What begins as a calculated recruitment effort ultimately becomes complicated by Akutsu's growing attachment to Lily.
