The Darwin Incident

The Animal Liberation Alliance, a radical environmental group, frees a pregnant chimpanzee from a lab and discovers it's given birth to a hybrid infant named Charlie. Fifteen years later, Charlie's human guardians decide it's time for him to attend a regular high school, where he befriends a girl named Lucy. However, the ALA's extremist views have intensified since its initial rescue, and they now seek to draw Charlie into their violent cause.
