The Case Files of Jeweler Richard

Richard Ranashinha de Vulpian is a British jewelry appraiser with extensive knowledge of mineralogy, who operates a small shop in Japan. Seigi Nakata, a college student, befriends Richard after saving him from harassment one night. Seigi hires Richard to appraise a family heirloom, a pink sapphire ring, left by his deceased grandmother, which leads to their collaboration. Over time, Richard and Seigi develop a business relationship as Seigi becomes a part-time employee, working together to understand the stories behind various pieces of jewelry and the people who own them.
