Texhnolyze

Texhnolyze is set in Lux, a subterranean city that has deteriorated due to years of neglect and disrepair. The city's residents view it as a living entity with its own will and often refer to it simply as "The City". Three main factions vie for control: Organo, a group that collaborates with the Texhnolyze-obsessed underworld; the Salvation Union, a populist movement seeking to disrupt Organo's activities; and Racan, a group of individuals with Texhnolyzes for personal gain.

Ichise, a former orphan and prize fighter, loses an arm and a leg in a fight, only to be saved by scientist Eriko Kamata, who uses him as a test subject for her Texhnolyze technology. After being fitted with prosthetic limbs, Ichise becomes involved with the leader of Organo, Oonishi, and meets Ran, a young girl who possesses the ability to perceive possible futures.
