Tenchi Masaki's life changes dramatically when Ryouko Hakubi, a notorious space pirate, crash-lands her ship near his family's temple. Ryouko is soon joined by a group of alien women, including Princess Aeka and Princess Sasami from the planet Jurai, and Washuu Hakubi, a brilliant but eccentric scientist. These women try to adapt to life on Earth, but their advanced technology and customs often clash with the simple way of life, causing chaos and disrupting Tenchi's routine.
