Tales of Zestiria the X

Sorey, a young man from the village of Elysia, lives among the Seraphim, divine beings who interact with humans. According to folklore, humans known as Shepherds are chosen to interact with the Seraphim, receiving prayers in return for their blessings. Sorey's curiosity about the Seraphim's history with humans leads him to explore nearby ruins with his childhood companion Mikleo, a Seraphim. There, they meet a mysterious girl who seeks a Shepherd's help, claiming the world is on the brink of darkness.
