Takopi's Original Sin

Takopii, a squid-like creature known as a Happian, crash-lands on Earth after leaving his home planet. He's rescued by Shizuka Kuze, a young girl who lives with her mother and the only living companion her mother's absence leaves her with - her dog Chappy. Shizuka's daily struggles with bullying and her fatherless home situation don't initially concern Takopii, but he sets out to make her smile. His efforts lead to unexpected consequences as he navigates the complexities of human relationships and tries to comprehend the needs of those around him.
