Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho

Jinta and Suzune were taken in by Motoharu, the guardian of Kadono Village, along with his daughter Shirayuki. Motoharu's daughter succeeded the shrine maiden Itsukihime after her passing. Jinta was eventually chosen as the village's new sentinel. As protector, his duty is to eliminate threats, which he does when battling a demon in a nearby forest. The demon's severed arm is attached to Jinta, turning him into an immortal demon man. Upon awakening, Jinta finds Kadono Village in flames and Suzune, now a demon, has murdered Shirayuki. Jinta sets out to find Suzune, feeling unable to forgive her, and travels through Japan across different eras, protecting people from demonic threats.
