Karen Kohiruimaki, a university student from Tokyo, stands out in her everyday life due to her exceptional height, which she often struggles with. In contrast, her in-game avatar in the virtual reality game Gun Gale Online, known as LLENN, is a petite character she's always wanted to be. LLENN quickly gained a reputation as a skilled player killer in the firearm-centered game, and Karen found herself losing track of time while playing. Her life takes an unexpected turn when LLENN gets outsmarted by a target, leading to a meeting with Pitohui, a skilled and eccentric player who encourages LLENN to participate in Squad Jam.
