She heads to the capital of Lewiston for the annual Royal Candy Fair, where she aims to win a royal medal for her silver sugar confection. To ensure her safety on the perilous journey, Ann hires Shall Fen Shall, a sharp-tongued warrior fairy, as her bodyguard. The pair's time spent together leads to a deeper understanding of each other's desires and aspirations.
