Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf

Kraft Lawrence, a traveling merchant, stops in the village of Pasloe to sell his fur pelts. Local folklore maintains that Pasloe's prosperity is due to a centuries-old promise between a villager and the wolf deity Holo. After completing his business, Lawrence heads to his next destination, but his journey takes an unexpected turn when he finds a young woman, claiming to be Holo, among his pelts. As they travel together, Holo helps Lawrence with his dealings, using her intelligence and experience to benefit their partnership.
