Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyage

The year 2201 is marked by the Yamato's return from the brutal battle with the Comet Empire. Sanada, Aihara, and Shima are discharged from the hospital and attend a memorial service for the fallen Okita crew at his memorial. There, they meet Tasuke, Tokugawa's son, who plans to join the Yamato's crew after graduating from cadet school. However, his graduation ceremony is disrupted when he accidentally capsizes a boatload of new cadets who were distracted by the Yamato's presence. The crew then sets off on a training mission, but the launch is delayed by a series of technical issues caused by the new engine crew's inexperience.
