Slayers: The Book of Spells

Lina Inverse and her partner Naga The Serpent take on jobs for various benefits, including food and personal gain. In "The Scary Chimera Plan," they face a magician who wants to use Lina to create a powerful monster. In "Jeffry's Knighthood," Lina and Naga help a young man become a knight by fighting off bandits, with the goal of earning his mother's approval. The final story, "Mirror, Mirror," involves a chase to capture a sorcerer who's found an ancient artifact that can create duplicates of people and objects.
