Cyan Hijirikawa, an ordinary high school girl with remarkable guitar skills, is sucked into Midi City, a world where music is the dominant force. She discovers that exceptional musicians have the ability to shape the city, but also that not all music is created equal. An evil force threatens to engulf Midi City in darkness, prompting Cyan's journey to master her abilities and save the city.
