Masahiro, grandson of Abe no Seimei, has lost his ability to perceive supernatural entities, a crucial skill for an onmyouji. This forces him to consider alternative career paths. A chance encounter with a mononoke named Mokkun sparks a revival of his latent powers after defeating a demon in battle. With Mokkun's help, Masahiro embarks on a journey to become a skilled onmyouji.
