Shangri-La

The post-apocalyptic Japan is characterized by earthquake damage and overgrown vegetation. The government's control over emissions has created a significant economic gap between the privileged classes and those living outside the utopian city of "Project Atlas," which was designed to replace Tokyo. Atlas has limited capacity, forcing many to live in the surrounding jungles as refugees. A group of individuals, including Kuniko Houjou, an heir to a rebellious town, Mikuni, a powerful child, and Karin Ishida, a global economics expert, form the "Metal-Age" movement, opposing Atlas's monopolistic rule and aiming to demonstrate the value of unity and cooperation in the face of exclusion.
