Ruuko Kominato receives a WIXOSS deck, only to discover a girl trapped inside her LRIG, or avatar card. This unexpected situation leads her to meet others with similar experiences, revealing that she's become a Selector in a special version of the game. As a Selector, Ruuko and her friends compete against each other, with the chance to have their desires fulfilled, but this comes at a steep price: losing three times can result in their lives being destroyed.
