This request follows Dr. Ni's revelation to Gyokumen Koushu about the Pearl Jade's existence. Lirin learns of the information and informs Kougaiji, setting the stage for a potential power struggle. Sanzo's group must now locate and seal the Pearl Jade before it falls into unwanted hands.
