Saikano: Another Love Song

Lieutenant Mizuki, a battle-hardened military woman, volunteered for an experimental procedure after being injured in combat, making her the first prototype "ultimate weapon." She proved to be highly successful in battle, but her development was limited due to being the initial candidate. When Chise is forced into the military to become the new ultimate weapon, Lieutenant Mizuki is dismissive, viewing Chise as silly and weak. The two share a unique bond, as Lieutenant Mizuki is the only one who can hear Chise's thoughts, having undergone the same procedure.
