Ryuu no Haisha

Nonoko Kishii is a member of the dragon dentists, a special unit responsible for the oral care of ancient dragons bound to protect a nation. These powerful creatures are rendered ineffectual by cavities, making the dragon dentists' work crucial to their nation's defense. Nonoko volunteers to care for the teeth of one of these dragons, despite knowing the circumstances of their eventual demise, which they accept without a fight. Bernard "Bel" Octavius, a young enemy officer brought back to life by the dragon's teeth, is placed under Nonoko's care as a dentist-in-training.
