Ryu the Primitive Boy

Ryuu's tribe initially attempts to sacrifice him to a Tyrannosaurus named Shirano due to his unusual skin color, but he's saved by a monkey who raises him as her own. This event occurs 16 years prior to Ryuu meeting Ran, a girl sold to his tribe. Upon reuniting with Ryuu, the tribe seeks to sacrifice him again, this time by burning him alive, but they're thwarted by Shirano's arrival. Ryuu then joins forces with Ran to search for his mother and her brother Don.
