Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan (2023)

Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan takes place in late 19th century Japan, during the transition from the Bakumatsu period to the Meiji era. The infamous warrior Hitokiri Battousai is believed to have vanished, leaving his legend behind. Kenshin Himura, a wandering man with a hidden past, encounters Kaoru Kamiya, the owner of a struggling dojo in Tokyo, who's being harassed by a self-proclaimed Battousai. This impostor is using the Kamiya Kasshin-ryu, a sword style developed by Kaoru's father that's rooted in living, not dying.
