Maeda joins Teiken High School, a new student with a noticeable stutter that becomes worse when he's anxious. During the entrance ceremony, he accidentally hits a teacher, drawing the attention of various clubs. These clubs, seeking an edge over their rivals, attempt to recruit Maeda for their own purposes, but his main goal remains becoming a skilled boxer.
